TMS software for small fleets

A transport management system should save you time, not become a project. TruckDispatch is a lightweight cloud TMS for carriers with 2 to 20 trucks.

A TMS (transport management system) is software that plans, executes and tracks transport orders. TruckDispatch is a lightweight, cloud-based TMS for small and mid-sized European carriers. It covers order management, trip planning, route costing, driver communication, invoicing and profit reports, without the setup effort of enterprise suites.

TMS vs dispatch software: what is the difference?

The two terms overlap. Dispatch software focuses on assigning orders to trucks and drivers. A TMS also covers costing, documents, invoicing and reporting. TruckDispatch combines both, so a small team does not need two separate tools.

Frequently asked questions

What does TMS stand for?

TMS stands for transport management system: software used to plan, execute and track the movement of goods, including orders, drivers, vehicles, costs and invoices.

Do small fleets need a TMS?

Not every small fleet does. But if you spend hours on spreadsheets, calls and manual invoices, or you do not know what a trip earns, a lightweight TMS can save a lot of time.

Is TruckDispatch a cloud TMS?

Yes. It runs in the browser and every customer gets an isolated database.

How much does a TMS cost?

Prices vary widely between products. TruckDispatch costs €16 to €20 per truck per month with all modules included, plus a one-time €100 implementation fee.

Does it include live GPS tracking?

Live GPS tracking of vehicles is on our roadmap and is not available yet. Today, drivers update order status and upload CMR photos from their phone.
