1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is Truck Dispatch Solutions. Email: contact@truckdispatch.solutions. You can contact us at any time about data protection.

2. Hosting and server log files

When you visit this website, our web server automatically processes technical data that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the site securely and to detect abuse.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). Log data is kept only as long as needed for these purposes and then deleted. Our hosting provider processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

3. Contact form and email

If you use the contact form or write to us, we process the name, email address, company, phone number (optional) and message you provide, plus the time of submission and your IP address in the notification email. We use this data only to answer your request or to prepare a trial or offer.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Messages are delivered through our own mail server and stored until your request is resolved; we delete them afterwards unless statutory retention duties apply.

Spam protection: the form uses a signed time token, a hidden honeypot field and a per-address submission limit. For the limit, a one-way hash of the email address is held temporarily in a server temp folder.

4. Anonymous reach measurement

We measure page views with our own, self-hosted tool. It does not use cookies and stores nothing on your device. Per visit we record: page path, site language, the referring website (host name only, external sources only), browser, operating system, device class and a hashed identifier.

Your IP address is not stored. It is combined with the current date and a secret key and hashed (HMAC-SHA256), so the value changes every day, cannot be reversed and cannot be linked across days. Repeated hits from the same visitor within 30 minutes are counted once.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website). Data is kept for up to 400 days. Your browser’s “Do Not Track” and “Global Privacy Control” signals are honoured: if either is on, nothing is recorded. You can object at any time (see section 8).

5. Cookies and local storage

We do not set cookies for visitors and do not read from or write to your device’s storage. A session cookie is used only on the password-protected administration page, and only after an administrator signs in.

6. External content and WhatsApp

This website loads no third-party fonts, scripts, maps or embedded media; all resources come from our own domain. The “WhatsApp” button on the contact page is a plain link: only if you click it are you taken to WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), whose privacy policy then applies.

7. Security

The website is served exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection (TLS).

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Please contact us at contact@truckdispatch.solutions.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority of your place of residence or, for our establishment in Romania, the ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).

We update this policy when our processing changes. The current version is always available on this page.
